Following its postponement in 2020, Young Theatre Makers reignited their production of Lord of The Flies for the SSC 2022 Summer Season.

I workshopped the design and realisation of the costumes with the updated cast, using a plethora of personally sourced and made costumes and accessories. Set on an island with a disused military base, I encouraged the cast to be personally responsible for justifying their practical and aesthetic choices with costume and degrading what they had chosen to give the costumes authenticity. Making the production an immersive, evolutionary experience, I worked with the cast to add to their costumes throughout the production, finding pieces onstage as the play progressed.
